Japanese Green Cherry Sencha
The delicious smell of this tea alone makes us dream of far-away lands. Japanese Sencha is made from the first picking of the leaves in spring which are then steamed to de-enzyme the tea and enhance the green colour. This gives long flat emerald green needles of tea with pale green flecks and makes a light golden yellow infusion with a sweet aroma and flavour full of vitamin C. The blend of aromatic Japanese Sakura cherries and rose petals creates a very special delicious smelling sweet tea. 1 teaspoon per cup, boil fresh water and cool to 80 degrees before adding the leaves so as not to burn the tea which would create a bitter taste, brew for 2 minutes, can be infused a second time with the same leaves
Available in a full size packet for the store cupboard or a sample packet of at least 10 cups of tea, perfect for trying it out or as a gift
